Post by Fullmoon1971 »

Okay so after managed to keep GAS under fairly under control until last week I've now added this little beauty to the fold. GAS never retreats too far away.

Interesting indeed.

A piezo under the bridge - something that would have tempted me if I was still playing electrics often enough to merit another one.
It gives an extra range to the sounds, and I rather like the blended sounds that good examples of this type of set up have.

Look forward to hearing how your one sounds.

Nice. I've never seen a Parker "Tele" before. It looks good.
The only performer I ever saw playing a Parker (Fly) live was Bluesman Corey Harris, back in the late 90's or very early 00's. I was kind of surprised to see a traditional blues artist playing a solo gig on the most modern guitar one could buy, but it sounded totally killer.

I hate to say it but I love the shape of the body. Not a big fan of piezo pickups, though.

Eh, what's wrong with the shape of the body? Sure, it's uncommon, but that's part of what makes it interesting.

Well I love it even though I have an old-man's taste in that type of thing. That's why I hate to admit it
