That clutch arrangement makes for a really clean handlebar, but I couldn't ride it.
As I said in the other thread, I am a classic cafe racer fan. Mostly I have built Brit bikes... Nortons, Triumphs, and BSA's. This Beemer will eventually look like a 900S. I have to keep it mild enough to carry a passenger... (my wife)

Electric start panhead! What tranny's that (6-speed?). Hydraulic disc brakes on the rear in a rigid frame. Sure ain't a '65. And that's the only year the factory made an electric start pan and it was a swing arm rear.
I run the stock "rocker" foot clutch on my '51 with a non-ratchet 4-speed jocky shift. Weird enough. I also run a hydraulic disc rear brake. It's a 70's Harley Dresser 11" disc with a '79 VW Rabbit front caliper. I'll post some pics later.
its a 5 speed at times i do wish i had one more gear to grab. no it aint a 65, it is actually an 02 built by two boys from alabama called accurate engineering, they made all the replica capt. america and billy bikes for panzer in the late 90's, this one is called "CHEAP ASS PAN", i paid them 7 grand for it, and at the time you could not get a new one anywhere else, now i think revtech have them for around 3 as well as a few other
