chicago bluesfest 2011

Post by tradrrr »

I figure with the Chicago bluesfest this weekend (and because I haven't contributed to the site much lately), I'd post some of the acts I saw to pass on some blues history. The theme this year is Robert Johnson.

I stumbled upon him and was surprised at his history.

I'm not sure any of these videos do them justice, but I'd recommend looking into them further if they interest you. They were all really good. Enjoy!

Sounds like it was a wonderful show! Hope Honeyboy Edwards is gonna be ok. Woulda' been a treat to see him live!

Rocky Lawrence, Eric Davis, it would take me a week to recover from a show like that!
