Cool Guitar Thread

Post by microtech »

This may have been done before, but I think it would be fun to have a thread where we post pictures of cool guitars we run across. I look at the "Whats New" on Sweetwater.com's site every day to see what they add. I have no investment/affiliation with the site, but I love their guitar gallery. I think most everyone on this site loves looking at guitars, so why not share? I enjoy playing the "If I had unlimited $$$, what would I buy."

I saw this one today, very unique.

Please share any cool guitars you come across.

I like the idea. Especially because it'll give me something else to do at work....you know, besides work.
Let me tell you what the blues is....

I'm into T-master daydreams.

I emailed and there's a 12 week wait/order backlog at the Guitar Mill (world class body builders):

Here's one in Fiesta Red..

Hey guys, long time since I've posted here- recently got back from 6 months travelling around Europe and SE Asia. Hope everyone's doing well.

On the cool guitars topic, have you seen the Langcasters from NZ? Jan Akkerman plays one (at least according to the website). I think they look great and love the idea of playing such old wood.

Welcome back MajorTom - hope you enjoyed your travels. :D

I agree that a wood like this has some sort of extra appeal to it - you get a much better idea of how startlingly different in looks in the bigger picture option on the one just above the Jan Akkerman video. The fact that Jan Akkerman was interested enough to use one indicates high quality - he's got a pretty good taste in guitars and in his playing.

I see my link doesn't work anymore.

Nice to learn about unique guitar makers. I am always surprised to learn how many are out there that I do not know about.

I got this from a Gibson e-mail news letter today... many of you may have gotten the same, but I thought it would be worth posting here.
