Update - offline - online

Tried to update the forum software the other day, but it turned out to be unstable. I had to step back to the older version.
Maybe someday I have to switch to a completely different software. I also updated the layout of http://12bar.de .

This time a big update - more a re-install since the new version is not compatible. All posts and uploads should be there, but I need to hack several pages in order to get the old layout back. So maybe it's offline for a minute from time to time.

It was time for another big update from V3.2.x to V3.3 - security fixes, bug fixes, some layout changes etc.

Sorry for the break, the last update had a bug so I had to install the forum software completely new. Everything should work now.
However, it's mainly for archive purposes as there's not much traffic here.

It's a real shame about the lack of traffic - with the effort and work and money you put into the site.

Sorry - I'm as much to blame as any for that lack.
Which is at least in part due to my having a bit of an all things guitar hiatus. Playing, recording, composing, online presence ... all in a bad way.
Which is rather dispiriting. But hopefully it will sort itself out before too long.

It's not that much work and money and if someone's to blame it's myself, a website today needs daily posts to get google's attention. But there are other things that currently are more important to me, so I can live with that.

I still play guitar, but don't record, it's just for my own pleasure.

Several updates were necessary, a step from php 7 to 8 made my scale generator and Blues name generator break because of some backward incompatibility. I hope I got it all fixed.

The forum software also needed a major update, so if something is wrong, let me know!
