Not that much, but he seems to be one of your major influences.
His use of the whammy bar reminds me of Jeff Beck...

I haven't heard much of his music. But he certainly has a style of his own and is adventurous in his ideas of what to play.

There is something of the type / style of his music that remind me of what guitarists like Jeff Beck and Allan Holdsworth explore.

I seem to recall seeing a video of him in a trio with Billy Cobham that was very high power.

SH is a monster player. He plays blues amazingly. I love his tone and his feeling! Some criticize is (over)use of the whammy bar but to me it brings all the expression of his voice on the guitar!
