Hi Tytl - hope you're doing well too!

I could hear some possible notes in my head when I listened to your backing track, so I might have a look at this, possibly with a view to a collab.

But I've not played an electric guitar for the last 4 months since we moved house and not for a good few months before we left as so much time was spent on things to do with selling the old house, finding and viewing new ones, downsizing and de cluttering etc.
So I'll be hell of a rusty, and I fear the strings may be too!
How does standard tuning work again?!

That's good Tytl .... I will try and take the opportunity to get some practice in while you get things started.

Tonight I got the PRS P90 out, tuned it (all strings down a semitone except the G-string which was at E!), plugged in the recording interface and managed to remember the settings, and then thought my Tonelab LE was broken ... till I spotted the on/off switch on the mains transformer was set to off.

I seem to have some vague recollection of what to do - a brief clip below:-

early test.mp3 - (1.13 MiB)

I've been in the doldrums with acoustic guitar too. This one below is my only creative attempt in nearly two months.

Must get my act together and get back into playing more again.

Cheers Tom - that'll all be good as far as I'm concerned. :D

Might be the weekend before I can give it proper attention as I'm busy at work with auditors in this week.

I liked what I heard you do and that encouraged me to get the guitar out again.
Did manage a more successful noodle tonight and it's all starting to feel a bit more familiar.
When I've done, I'll post a copy on the thread and send you a PM with a link to a wav file if you fancy putting it all together in higher quality.

This is SWEET! I wish I had an interface so I could participate. I might be able to get my bass player/sound guy to download it and run it thorugh headphones and mic my amp at the venue we pay on an off night... Do you think you all could add another verse or two?
