Playing bass in a new "Blues" band

Post by Kalle »

Hi Guys
I have now joined a new "forming up" blues band as bass player.
This is a band with only "senior" members, all over 63...
A very experienced guitar player and singer, a good drummer and me...
A typical song we play is the early (60:ties) Fleetwood Mac song "Merry go round";

The bass line in this song is very cool, but a bit of a challenge.

Kalle! Long time no see! :big_smile:

Good news - I wish I had a band, too (and the time)... :drool:
Any chance for a soundclip?

Hi
It might be video recording from the next rehersal (monday).
The guitarplayer/bandleader seems to record every rehersal with his video cam...

Look forward to hearing some of the new bands music.

I can see how following John McVies bass lines could be a challenge!

Good luck with it all! :thumbsup:
