A romp with guest artists...

Post by Blindboy »

Here, we are jamming with guest artists Opie Hendrix from Texas on guitar and Bill Bailey on organ. It's very cool to be able to play with good musicians who can just wing it and do what we do...

This is very much off the cuff. I've played with these two guest artists exactly once each (on separate occasions), our drummer had showed up from work one song earlier. I thought it came off pretty well.

4:46 - how the heck can someone sit and EAT next door? I would come over after the first note! Sooo great - raw, live, energy, everything. That's BLUES! :bb:

 That is Connie, a waitress at the restaurant. (We are playing out on the deck) She is busy rolling silverware, besides, she hears us all the time.
This was a pretty good one, though. I loved the organ!
