Okie Stomp

Post by Blindboy »

This is me and my brother Jesse fooling around with my Okie Stomp jam.
https://youtu.be/Egk4qjntKj8
He is playing his Martin 000 18 and I am on the guitar that was the soundtrack of my childhood, an Alvarez Yairi, salesman sample handmade by Kasuo Yairi himself. Jesse is actually a much better acoustic fingerpicker than I am, but this video does not show that.

Deceptively simple "fooling around" - rock solid rhythm underpins it all - and there's a couple of classy guitars you're both playing it on. I think I can safely say it's a jam with a great flavour!

Fantastic BB. I really dig that style and envy your playing ability.

Enjoy the time with your family even though it's a reunion wrought from loss.
Cheers!
Mike

Thanks, guys...
Mike, I did enjoy spending time with my brothers. I don't see them as much as I would like. I rolled home today... seven hundred miles!

It's getting boring to tell you what you already know  . You have it in you and nobody can take that away from you. You play as good as usual.
