my new amp ...

Post by kiwiclapton »

Hi guys, I've not contributed many posts, but I visit this site on a regular basis.
Just want to share a couple of things.

I have had a couple of amps since I took up the guitar seriously 2 years ago, but I have to say the Fender blues Junior that I picked up on Monday is just, well its like a new set of ears.

The sound is gives me just feels right, and its true that it works really well with pedals.

All the best

Andrew

Very nice choice .... congats.

"like a new set of ears" is a very good way of describing what the right amp does for you. Enjoy.

Look forward to hearing it.

Very Cool!! is that the nos version with the jenson speaker? I've got a blues jr 3, have had it for a quite while, great little amp, perfect for taking to blues jams, has plenty of volume and is nice and light , easy to move around and they sound good. I've taken mine out to quite a few blues jams always worked great got a footswitch for the fat boost and use that as a lead boost, I did change the speaker on mine to a eminence canabis rex which really helped smooth out the high end and gave it a bit more volume and tone plus they take pedals really well! Guys seem to either love them or hate them but I really like mine, wish I had the tweed, nice amp, have fun!! Dan

Good little amp.
I've played through a couple of different ones, both stock and modified. I liked all of them. The tweed is quite cool.
