Open mic is defunct for a time

Well, looks like our open mic is down for a while. Our keyboard player blew up her amp. :tears:
I think I will take this time to work up some songs to sing on. :yikes: I am currently doing "Early in the Morning" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb", I think I will work up "Cold Shot", "Pride and Joy", and "Red House". Hmmm, I think I see a pattern here. :roll: I have to do songs that I can play in my sleep,so to speak, because when I sing, I can't remember how to play. :wall:

Try the BB King approach - either sing or play guitar... :mercy:

That's a good bit of advice.

Shame about that amp - I guess you'll miss those open mic gigs - still you've also got the "Dead Rabbit Blues" song to work on too. :big_smile:
