Injury... again....

Post by Blindboy »

Broken glass is SHARP!
A very interesting sensation... feeling glass grate against bone inside ones pinkie finger. :yikes: Fretting hand too. :wall:

Sucks eh? I unpacked a crate today and got a deepish nail scatch on the side of my thumb, the one that holds the Jim Dunlop. I thought back to my first guitar teacher, he told me he'd never to any manual work because of these situations. Good on him I think.

You're going to need a stuntman to do all these tasks that have any hint of danger to them Blindboy. :alright:

Hope it heals up quick. Don't want you bleeding all over your guitar ... again!

Though I can say this as someone that cut themselves on a potato peeler - a gadget designed to prevent the injuries caused by using a knife. :shy: Not to mention accidentally putting a staple in my thumb a few months back - I know what you mean about an interesting sensation - it was certainly interesting at the pulling the staple out stage. :wall:

ah that sucks. Last time I had a deep cut was in my foot, stepped on a broken bottle whilst fishing, didn't hit bone but I know the sensation your talking about. Heal up quick and keep that wound clean and dressed.

Thanks, guys... I just have to avoid certain fingerpicking tunes and licks for a while.
