Vid from an Open Mic down in town.
Last Thursday night I drove down to Albuquerque (about 75 miles ) to hit up an open mic hosted by a friend of mine, and got to jam with (among others) one of my very favorite New Mexico bands, Felix Y los Gatos. These guys mix cajun, hispano, blues, and gypsy jazz. This vid was shot by my brother on a cellphone, hence the poor pic quality, and I was playing someone else's rig (Felix was borrowing my Strat), but the sound is otherwise not bad. This was shot at Blue Jeans Lounge in Albuquerque NM.

Looks like you might be lining up Albuquerque's own version of Los Lobos.
And it seems like Los Gatos are a happy bunch of cats.
Great video - looks like a really good time. And the sound recording was also very good - surprisingly so.

Seems like a good time was being had by all - you've got to spread your net a bit for some of your gigs (75 miles!) - amazing to get that good a picture and sound on a cellphone. Good playing BTW.

Cool! Frankenstrat sounds great when anybody plays it! Almost like it plays itself. You sounded good too BB. (that's you in the shadow on the other side?) Must have been a gas!
That drive home at 2am must have been a bummer though.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. It was a lot of fun, but isn't going to happen very often for me. Too far, and I work the next day.
