Outside Woman Blues Revised

Post by StratLover2 »

Hi All!

Based upon Gerd's and redrooster's comments, I did a revised version. It's rather late here, and tireder then usual, I decided to forgo the microphone, and combined with trying to go for less gain, may be my lead is kind of faint.

Still, I really worked hard on the rhythm, hammering myself several times today with the right rhythm.

I really enjoyed recording this, though it took about twice as long as usual songs to record, as I was paranoid about the rhythm and the sound.

You're much better in time here!
One advice comes to m mind: calm down. It's not a fast song. Take your time! There's no need to show everything you can play within a minute... :oldie:

Hi Gerd!

Thanks! Based upon your comments, I did another version, where I slowed everything down, and made it a bit longer, so it didn't seem rushed like the last one.

Sounds better. Keep going at it! I play this song regularly, I've even seen Eric Clapton play it live twice! If you need help, contact me.

Thanks drockadam!

I plan to keep playing this song as often as I can. I find when I play tricky songs often, eventually my fingers get the hang of it! Okay, if I need any more help, I most certainly will contact you! Thank you ever so much!

Hey Stratlover,

I recorded "Outside Woman Blues" in the summer and I just wanted to share it with you. Use this for the rhythm and the solo!
