The guitar (The Loar) has been tuned down to C F Bb D#... etc. Heavier gauge. That darker sound just pleases my ears...

Well, As far as I know age is just about biology...
I'm 72, still sailing, riding my horses, and playing the guitar (mostly acoustic by now).
My father turned 98 begining of this month and he's still biking 15/20 miles a day... (along with youngsters indeed!).
Mother (92), still swiming in the sea every morning even in winter!
BB Style... Just 3 or 4 notes with everything in it (feelings, rythm and groove)!
IMHO the very difficult to acheive!
