Rehearsal Track Take on Iphone

Post by tytlblues »

So, started jamming with a new friend in my community that plays stand up bass. Pretty rare in my book, he is older, my age, well, ok, he’s in his 55’s, I turn 61 in April…but still, old school in my book. Plays acoustic, full sized stand up bass…..and a blues aficionado! So, this was a song we decided on, I recorded it on my Iphone, simply so i can recall and practice to it at home. You will even hear me vocally remind myself during the song about not coming in too early! Well, anyways, since nothing has been posted for awhile, what the heck!

ok, finally figured out/remembered how to post!

Lucky guy! Sounds great, with a great swing in it!
Also the tone is quite nice and jazzy. :music2:

Thanks Gerd, so much more fun playing live with someone! I recorded that with the guitar in my Avatar. Its a Squire Classic Vibe series Thinline Telecaster. Great guitar for not too much money!

Lovely piece of live playing - very musically tasteful and enjoyable listening.

Sound quality is very good too - amazing how good iPhone recording had got.
