Nearly a month since I last wrote on this thread

.... been very distracted with non guitar stuff I'm afraid.
But probably more of that later and elsewhere on the forum threads.
Sorry you had so much troubles with getting recording up and running again Gerd.
I hadn't heard that issue with Audacity - seems from various sources / tech articles I just read that it's maybe version 3.0.3 where the potential issue came in. I still run 2.3.2 but only use it occasionally for splitting big mp3 files or converting formats.
I did like that slower blues number you did Fenson

and had been thinking for a while about having a go.
If I could remember how to play an electric!!!!
Afraid my attempt did get a bit ragged in the middle, and I've forgotten a fair chunk of the blues technique and method.
But this attempt is just from where my fingers went and where my head suggested they go.
Thanks for posting the BT - I enjoyed having a go.
Used the PRS SE single coil P90 (neck pickup) - fingers and no pick. Just a software amp simulation. A GB British amp which is based very much in Vox territory, plus a treble booster and a bit of compression. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface - which is very good for sounds but my PC needs a good few things disabled to avoid sound glitches - the 2i2 seems to need more processing power than the old basic Alesis.
The debut of my recording an electric guitar blues genre piece on Garageband

on the iPad.
The Apple m4a file turned into an mp3 file with Audacity.
Hope it's not too awful.
