A hastily recorded jam on GarageBand for iPad. I used a midi keyboard for the drums and bass, and played the guitar parts on a Strat plugged in direct to the iPad .......cheers

Sounds like Garageband is a great tool for your one man band! Well done!
After searching for a while I currently try Reaper and it seems to have all I need, easy to work with, better MIDI support than Audition, better VST(i) support than Audacity and no license server that can be switched off.
Cakewalk (Sonar) is now Gibson and from what I've read this is no good news...

QuickTime Player to the rescue, Windows Media Player having fallen over trying to read the file.
Might be hastily recorded but the arrangement works very well, and of course the guitar playing is classy! I enjoyed it
I did try to look at Garageband as my wife has it on her Mac, but being totally unused to the way a Mac works I got nowhere.
In passing I also tried Reaper a few years back and have to admit failing there too - right down to being stuck as to what to do on the opening screen.
Technology has left me far behind.
