Not sure I even want to post this...

Post by Blindboy »

I have no DAW, or interface, so I can't play into the computer machine. The only way I have to share music is by video. I asked a friend to video this song Monday night and forgot that I had the camera on close up mode, so it is blurry. Oh well, call it an effect. This is our take on an old Chuck Berry tune. You have heard it before, but we don't add new material that often.

Hope you guys like it... I am playing the FrankenStrat through the custom BJ, using pick and fingers kind of at random. I really like the tone and response I can get from the custom BJ. I have finally found the amp for me. It's light enough that my decrepit self can lug it around, and I love the way it sounds. :amp:

 oh yeah.... yeah you SHOULD post that. I was just chillin' watching an NPT Soundbreaking "The Human Instrument" on TV. It's centered around vocals but is really about music and how it is made. A huge part of that is the feeling that these artists have when they perform or record. I can see that you have got that special feeling when you play. The talent is obvious, but the feeling is what makes it special. Great recording, thanks so much for sharing!

I'm glad you decided to post this too!

The picture may be blurry but the sound isn't. High quality music on offer here and the guitar playing is a great example of high class blues playing. If this shows what happens when you've found an amp that suits you for tone and response then your long search for such an amp has been worthwhile.

Very much a case of making the guitar sing, and sing so sweetly too!

Glad you did!
Regardless you want or you don't, you owe to post any takes with such a blend of groovy feelings BB, at least for us from this forum!
We just love it!

Thanks for all the kind words. :shy:
I'm really lucky to have the band and venue that I do. I pretty much only pick up the guitar once a week at our Monday night jam. We are a bunch of close friends (band and audience) and have a great time together. This is the longest lived band I have ever had (seven years) and, I think, the best.

Your English is just fine, Michael. I have no trouble understanding you.
