Dusk

Post by VikingBlues »

I keep trying to write tunes in open tuning on the acoustic.

Here's a touch of melancholy music called "Dusk". In DADGAD.

But the guitarist me is frustrated at the shortcomings of the composer me, and vice versa. Those two parts of me end up glaring at each other in mutual dislike.

Wonderful!
I have a short paddling video I need a background music for, and this one fits much better than what I've done so far...
Maybe you'll give the permission to use it for this purpose?

Great piece this and also tonally perfect IMO. Love to hear you do some lyrics for this one. I see no conflict between the composer and the instrumentalist! Well done.

My thanks. :D The instrument helps of course!

I'll try and get the two me's to look at it afresh and try and see the positives.

Glad you liked it - I'm finding it grows on me a bit with age and that it's not as bad as I first thought. :D

I appreciate your bravery in exploring my soundclick collection Michael! 189 songs there now which is a bit horrifying. :eye_rub:

You wouldn't want to listen to them all!!! Even I wouldn't want to do that.

But thank you for giving some of them a listen and I appreciate the positive comments you made.
