Glimmer Of Hope, from an inspiring Soul

A song recorded as a collab with a friend of mine, a great blues singer Debbie Deijkers, a Dutch vocalist who I posted a recording here on 12bar way back. She battles some terrible, chronic health issues, and she wrote this song to my playing, on a ubiquitous Fritts backing tracks. It's called glimmer of hope, an original of hers. We have done many tracks together, and she is a wonderful, positive, and inspiring soul!

The spirit of some people in extreme adversity is incredible - what you say certainly puts Debbie into that category.

Electrifying singing and it highlights how good your guitar playing style is that you can do this sort of collab as equal partners musically.

Nothing more to say - a fantastic voice meets a screaming soulful guitar. I've visited her channel on SC, many great collabs there.

thanks everyone for the compliments on my vocals! must say, writing a song on Tom's playing comes natural, one note from my wingman and the words pop right into my head!

I can relate to chronic health issues... (COPD, CTS, and arthritus

), and I honor anyone who can work through them and make music this moving.
