Sitting on top of the World

Post by CarsickPhil »

Hi

I find singing rather hard. I also find it hard to get the loose but right combination of guitar and harmonica. In this attempt, I've taken the trad song, Sitting on top of the World, and changed the lyrics. Please let me know what you think. Is it loose but right or just shambolic?

Cheers

Phil

Hey Phil - like the harmonica playing  (I tried that instrument and failed miserably to get anywhere).

Well put together lyrics and very appropriate for our times. Though a tad depressing in reminding me of the state of the human race.

Certainly not shambolic!

My dictionary doesn't even know what shambolic is (I had to google), but it sounds great and I enjoyed the video!

Very thoughtful and the words in the the song just fits. You've done a little television program that says a lot about where humanity and this planet is on the way and that with high speed, unfortunately.

As I said; Very thoughtful.
