I swear, this is blues!
This one is from last Monday... we haven't done it in a while... This is the Ibanez archtop through the BJ III. It may sound Jazzy, but it is really mostly a I, IV, V, with variations. I am playing straight blues minor scales with some modal notes thrown in. Still sorting out the new amp.

I was playing the Ibanez a lot that night because I moved a bunch of my guitars away from the fire, down to Mikey's restaurant which is across the street from the bar. Since I had the Ibanez there in the neighborhood, I figured I might as well play it.

Nice laid back piece this ... live band always gets extra brownie points in my book! Triggered a hunt around the net for Mose Allison stuff, which this treatment reminded me of for some reason, although I don't think he ever did it. Good one!

Whatever it is I most definitely like it .... a lot. Goes with a very effective rhythm that gets the head and feet moving. Might be quite restrained but satisfying in a very musical way.

I think you're great on the guitar with your finger style equally jealous of you, I am too.
I wish I could have the patience to sit down to practice fingerstyle.
Great job by all of you in the band...............

Thanks Y'all... Glad ya liked it.
MR... Nothing to be jealous over, I have been messing with fingers for years. You have a sound and style that I can't copy, and sounds great. You should be glad of that.
Losaavedra, Kind of flattering that this makes you think of Mose Allison. I hadn't heard the Matt Munroe version of this until after we worked it up. I like our version better... (not Mose, though...)

You have right BB. I can not copy your finger style but wish I had my own finger style.
