The unavoidable song

After putting my guitar in the corner half way yesterdays rehearsal and waking up this morning because both my hands where screaming from agony, I just had to know.
So I picked up First lady and played a few notes. mhhh not to bad.
I fired up a a BT called "60_s British Slow Blues" I found on youtube, downloaded and converted to mp3 using Downloadhelper within Firefox

I started out playing a different lead, but after hitting record all went for the worse and there it is again

The pain is not allways there. Stress is a factor I noticed.

Bummer about the hand pain

I can relate because as I get older
I notice some discomfort when
I'm playing especially in the left hand

I've been diagnosed with
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands
from a career of working with tools

I'm supposed to have an operation
to alleviate it, this year, we'll see

Hey B2M,

I had my CTS surgery a couple of years ago (+- 3) and am just to happy I didn't follow their advice and let the have a go on my right hand, just because I'm left handed.
I have a collagene disorder and my left hand they hasn't retuned to completely normal yet. I still hate to use my handpalm to apply force with or lean on it.
Nope, I didn't put my right hand on the surgeon's table yet.

In most cases it works out great for people, it's that disorder that now causes the pain and is the main reason my left hand is as it is, so don't let my story put you off.
