HBL-Different directions jam

Josie is rippin' while I play it away

The name says it all. I didn't feel like following the backingtrack's mood and let Josie have it her way. Ugly at some places, but it catches the intention I think.
Actually it's just raw channeling of my mood

Interesting variation on the usual HBL tone - more dirt ... and I think I detect more of something else - I think it's menace. There's an edge of imperfection to the musically beautiful structure that gives it all an unsettling edge.

I think there's lesson in there that I could learn from ...... if I could just understand it. :wall:

PS - Interested to know is there an Okko Diablo in there at all or is it just guitar and amp? :icon_whoknows:

Thanks guys, It was good venting some stuff. I think I might try a faster one next :)

VB, you are spot on, the lead and the BT have different directions and that create a feel of tension I think
It's only the Fender Avri and the Cybertwin in semi bassman setting, medium compression and gain @ 5.5 The Okko stayed unemployed

The lesson to be learned: Don't think, feel, play... vent, work the guitar hard. One of the tricks I used here is putting my fretting finger down slightly after hitting ( yes hit !) the string with the pick.
