Thanks guys! Can't beat a bit of Wallimann backing to help encourage some half decent notes.

Turned off reverb / compression on the G-Dec for this one and used pedals instead - think it helped for this style to add a bit of sweetness to the tone.

Thanks Deaon. :D

'Twas the PRS SE Soapbar. I find it increasingly rare to go to any of the other 3 guitars at the moment. The Tonerider P90s (and upgraded wiring) on the PRS just have a sound and tones that my ear loves to hear - and it's a very easy guitar to physically play, and very responsive to changes in picking dynamics.

Wow!
What do you mean... "not jazz"? This is excellent. I really like the octave runs and the overall tone.
Man... I go away for a while and VB turns into a jazzer.

:naughty:

It's both, in a perfect way. Bluesy notes on a jazzy BT.

Makes me thinking of a slow jazzblues collab, it's been a bit quiet here lately....

Cheers guys .. :D .. you make 4.30 in the morning seem much better.

Though I should be honest here -

I'm thinking at least 60% of the Jazz comes from the BT, 30% comes from the rhythm ... and I have the advantage that's it's minor key, so Pentatonic charges in to the rescue (with the extra 2 Aeolian notes (my favourite mode) including the lovely unique b6 for flavour).Though it's amazing how much jazzier the octave runs and smattering of double notes makes the improv.

Tempting ... though with a weeks holiday approaching, and various distractions and preperations needing made, not sure if I can kick anything off for a couple of weeks.

I Llke the idea .... the "VB BLuzz" And "it goes" a bit like the recording .... minor melancholia - but only minor. Very pleased to find a bit of creative spark though. :D

No one is rushing us, so why not... where's the BT from? I'm just playing with octave notes... :music1:

Well, VB................It's jazz in my ears and very mature too. You know more about music then you take credit for, I think. It sounds very relaxed played and I hope you feel relaxed.

Thanks Michael - though I'm probably feeling more exhausted than relaxed. :alright: I'm hoping the weeks holiday coming up will move that exhaustion to relaxation, though the extra work needed in the time approaching the holiday doesn't help any.
