Back in the crowd
Yeah, I'm realy having fun with music again right now.
Ok, what's cooking After a well spend afternoon downtown Breda, enjoying the Jazz festival and having a handfull of white beers we got home and I watched the telly for about an hour. together with SWMBO
Ater that I went up to fool around a little, fetched Josie and kicked Cybie into an modified "Alone in the crowd" setting.. mhhh mhh yup
For a long time I was thinking of making a real follow-up on Alone in the crowd, different but related melodies and licks, multiple guitartracks . Well to cut a long story short, I started, noodled, played and recorded about 50 seconds of the follow-up version.
Yes, there is more, but only one guitar and only mend as a idea holder. I left it in the mix.
So here it is, Back in the crowd, first (3) take(s) for 50 seconds. Don't shout at me for the remainder , gotta work on that, I know

The big question, what do you guys think of the 3 guitar part ? nice, keep or bad and ditch ? for the whole recording comments, do's and don't are welcome.
I'm thinking of also incorporating the Ibanez accoustic

Re: Back in the crowd
finally
I hoped and did say it a couple of times, and yes here it is.
I like this song so much as you know.
And yes use the 3 guitars.
Why, don't make 2 the same songs, you want to make the 2nd, a follow up, or something like that, then it has to be a little different in sound and 3 guitar is different.

Re: Back in the crowd
It's difficult enough to record two guitar parts and make them work together. You've pulled off the trick of 3 guitars with great success and style!
Lovely HBL melodic playing. The thought of a total song based on this and with the Ibanez acoustic thrown in ... only one smiley will do ---->

An improv a day keeps the demons at bay!
