Noodling with a classic

Post by vancouverois »

Just noodling with the backtrack of a masterpiece, with the Peerless Songbird.
Actually first take recording, raw with all the mistakes and glitches. :shy:
I just hit the red button and see what happens

... and why not record a different interpretation of a "classic". Though TBH I have done a recording on this BT several weeks back and never got the nerve to post it due to worries about sacrilege!

Some very nice plaintive touches. Very individually your style too! Enjoyed the listen.

Nice!
That isn't the easiest set of changes to play over, and you have done a good job.

Nice one VC. You handled this well. I like the sound of your Peerless. Could you post a pic as I've heard very good things about these guitars and I'm curious.

Thanks, here is a few pics.
It's a nice guitar and seems to be built with a lot of attention

Wow VC what a beauty, a stunner even. Lovely wood and the nickel P90's look so cool. Thanks for posting, I bet that plays like a dream.

I would never nail this song down. You have done it and with all respect, this is a difficult song to play and you do it you're way.

Hey, first off, nice playing!! great notes and a nice rhythm sense. Second, what a nice looking axe man!!!! Beautiful guitar, and obviously plays as good as it looks!

Thanks Michael, I just played it by the feeling or may be instinct but I tried to keep the same vibe
all along the song. It was a bit of experimentation with the semi hollow tones, I really enjoy them :D
I was thinking the same about the difficulty and finally still gave it a try. I am sure you could play a nice
version of it

Thanks Tytl, well I'm honoured by your comment about my rythm sense :D but I guess I need to improve it
