study piece recorded

Post by HalfBlindLefty »

As I said before, I'm starting to play in a (startup) Blues band.
For one of the songs :) I had the option to create a custom BT from karaoke version, leaving only Drums, Bass and the singer.
I played two basic rhythm tracks. 1 chops and one using arpeggio's.
After that I tried to play fills in stead of a constand lead.

See what you think.

Very Sweet!
I like the two different rhythm tracks, and your fills are SUPER tasty.
I would like to hear more about your new band. How many pieces, what instruments, etc...?
Are you going to be the only guitar, or will there be a rhythm guitar? This practice piece suggests perhaps a female vocalist...

It all works very well - very pro, tasteful, and played with lovely tones, phrasing, and inflection.

Thanks folks, :) I'm gonna use this piece to practice my lead and fills so long until I can dream them.

The Band :)

last saturday it took me more than 2 hours to shake loose and really start playing in stead of hiding in the Rhythm train. I still am quite shy when I have to play in front of, or with other people. I need some time to settle down and let HBL shine through.

We currently use no name and are a band of 5 players.
A female dummer
a bass player
a second guitar player
and a (yes BB) female singer
Oops almost forget I'm in to...

as soon as we feel our stuff is worth listening to, I'll post some demos.

Sounds like a lot of fun , and a suitable challenge HBL ... You playing is way to good to be hidden away !!

the Track ( above - Super song !! ) is cracking ! and I like the singers voice too... we'll have more of that ... any time your ready !
