Bass Back Blues

Post by choucas09 »

I lent someone my bass guitar nearly two years ago and after an almighty struggle I finally managed to get it back. So I knocked this up, it's just bass and Strat and the guitar playing is a bit disjointed, but it doesn't really matter cos I got my bass back.

A nice "jam" with youre "orchestra". It shows what you can and the instruments syncronize well. Nice to hear someone that DON'T play with a BT for a change.

Great combo, bass and strat! I LOVE to play my bass but rarely do. I need to change that!

I really like that jam! I love fewer instruments, I love to here the simplicity interplaying together. Nice job!!!

Sounds like the bass is glad to be home! Especially liked the strat tone and playing! Hard to beat guitar and bass together. With that walking bass line you almost got into kind of a swing feel! Me liked it all around. ;)

Sounds like you've benn reunited with a good friend! Nice tones and very nice pro-sounding bass lines too for that matter.

Great job in making a good recording just with bass and lead. No rhythm guitar, no drums ... very impressive!

Sweet jam! Glad you got your bass back.
This is almost a textbook for tasty bends. I recently suggested to VB that he tried to vary his bends a bit, and he jumped all over it, with great results. This tune has all the variations on a bend that I suggested and more. A blues player can do a lot with just the way he bends and shakes notes. I feel that that, and the way we use our picking hand, is the way we forge an original sound, and you, sir, have a sound that is all yours.
