Messin With the Kid

Post by MichaelRobinson »

Hi.

A song from a small man in the world. I use a compressor/sustainer and a distortion pedal, plus my line 6 Pod X3 Pro in "Direct San Diego" position. :music2:

Nice playing and good ideas in the lead
The tone reminds me a bit EC's woman tone.

This is really good Michael. There was plenty of verve and spirit in your playing and you were gelling with the "band" very well. Good work mate.

Messin with MR!!!!!! Great job.......your uptempo playing is starting to rock, and sound fluent. I think some of your licks have really become part of you blues vocabulary now and you are playing ideas very freely!!!
Good job MR

You're getting those fast runs of notes to rocket along these days. You must let us know how you do that!

Good mix of fast and longer sustained notes. Very fluent and yet another example of how your note choices and phrasing are done with a close ear on what the backing track is doing - adds to the impression it's a band playing!

Hi tytlblues and thank's

Yes You are right. And to that I can add that I'm more confortable with my guitar and more concentrated on what I'm doing. I feel more confident now and not stressed when I play. I'm in the confort zone now but still I want to play more sofisticatded then I do now, but I'm lazy with study licks and scales. I know that.

Hi VB, and thank's

How I do the fast playing ? Well I sheat. Insted of fast hammer ons and pull offs I use my pic/plectrum to play the strings fast. I'm shure you can hear that.
Yes the sustain pedal was a very good move to buy. It works well with my intentions to add long sustaind notes.
