Collard green Blues

Been a bit preoccupied lately... My wife, Miriam, had her hip replaced today. :yikes:
Got some good recordings from last Monday, though. I played the twice ressurected Ibanez the whole night, and kind of like the tone I was able to get. This one is just a jam. Off the cuff and improv, this time in E.

Ibanez AF75 through tweed 4/10, played fingerstyle. This guitar is more conducive to playing mellow and tasteful, than screaming... (though, it will scream if required  ) :HoF:

I sure like the tone colours you get from green-blues.

The guitar obviously likes mellow and tasteful (as does the player!). Can't beat a hollow body for mellow.

Here's wishing Miriam a swift recovery.

Nice country blues feel. Reminded me of Brownie McGhee / Sonny Terry. Bit of harp might add something interesting. Good one!

Nice and mellow. This is what we used to call front porch music back when I was a kid. Several older family members and friends would sit around on the front porch and just play on some weekends. It always seemed a lot more fun running around the yard playing as a kid when the grownups were playing this kind of music.

Wishes for a fast recovery for your wife. :D

That's really nice sounding, Bb.

Every time you post some noodling I hear a dozen or more small licks I would love to learn.

I hope Miriam came through the surgery OK and recovers quickly.

Thank all of y'all for the well wishes. (Miriam thanks you too. ) She is doing very well and should come home tomorrow. :chicken:
Glad y'all liked our noodle... Losaavedra, a harp would work great with that kind of jam. Sometimes we get one sitting in. :harp:

Anything you want to cop is yours! It's all pretty simple stuff, anyway (I'm a simple guy) and, odds are I stole it from somewhere.
