I kept one behind...

Post by HalfBlindLefty »

A soundfile I discarded earlier while fooling around with my Fender strat, Cybertwin and Okko Diablo overdrive.
After listening again today while working, I decided to mix it and place it here anyway.
To please our friend VikingBlues I added a whole bunch of reverb at the start, where its only me playing :bb:

Despite the fact that this one seems to be the almost ultimate proof of the Okko Diablo responsiveness to playing dynamics (and frequencies) There is something that disturbs me on this song, may be because I played using this BT before.

See whatta ya think of this of this almost deleted soundfile.

Mhh I forgot,

Amp setting where as clean as a baby :) All overdrive is from the Okko and the fingers/pick.
The Okko was on straight through the song.

This recording is, if it were needed that the Diablo excels itself in greta responsiveness. When playing is done with this amount of delicacy, variation and control the Diablo seems like a great extra to have to add those finishing touches that give just that extra bit of perfection.

I've not been able to use this BT since the collab.

This is the sound i really like a lot.
A bit hard, but also a little soft, a bit rough, but a little smooth....

it's hard for me to tell a sound in words, but this is comming very very (maybe a 100%) close.

Sow HBL yeah more of this

If you keep posting clips of the Okko, you're going to cause me some severe pain in the wallet.

Sounds like the high price of this pedal really means high quality. Fantastic sound (and playing, as always)!

Oh Yeah!
Sweet sounds, indeed!
You are getting some really nice sounds from that pedal... not helping my natural inclination toward GAS attacks.

Fantastic tone and feel. The opening didn't quite work for me but loved it when the structure emerged in that solid groove. Just amazed by the sound you've created. Beautiful.
