Pracyising pauses
Hi
This is not realy a song. It's my paractising on pauses. I use to get critisism that I play far to much.
Is this Ok, as a bigining in playing with pauses ? I'm not use to pauses so I realy need some feedback from you guys.
Tanks in advance.

OK, I think you have cracked the code!....very relaxed. Nice phrases and structure. You do have some nice pauses, very relaxed. Makes the song flow nicely, and not sound over played or rushed....I like.

You don't play too much here - that's for sure.MichaelRobinson wrote:I use to get critisism that I play far to much.
I hadn't realised till I joined this forum that playing spaces in blues is so really important and even more difficult than playing the right notes. What you're doing here with your pauses is way ahead of what I usually do so I'm not too sure I'm qualified to comment much - but as a listener it sure works. Good music-making!

I think the pacing of your playing is a very good match for the backing track. Very good use of spaces.
It makes the whole piece very easy to listen to. Very good phrasing as well.
A good piece for me to study.

Thank's
I will practis more on pauses until it sits in my backbone and I instently get the feel for pauses.

Sounding good... you are letting it "breathe". That is the way.
