As you know i am very buzzy to get all the things done for the CD release. It is a lot of writing and organization, beside the working out for the recording of the Chitlin Crew. I have wrote a song together with Soraya that became one of the choices. It is Called: Hot Shot I like to have your opinion
This afternoon i take my drawing stuff out of the dust and this is the result.
The idea is Growing the blues in Holland. The Cd is named after the program. I want to show some typical Dutch pictures if possible.
Shoot at it an give me please your choice ( my wife goes for the Guitar that is growing single b.t.w.)

Last night we start to working at the song that was written by me and Soraya (lyrics) and the music by the bass-man Rick, AKA Cougar-Blues and me. I start with a lick and from that we create a chorus and bridge line. At the end of the evening we had e raw version of a bluesy song but not based on a blues scale. We recorded the whole session with a ZOOM recorder and we are surprised at some of the parts that felt together. (most of the time when we are not paying attention on doing right hahaha) I am flabbergasted again of the voice of Soraya, So mature and soulfull while she is just 20 years old. We are shure she is getting some future is this line of work.
