collab / jam rqst

Post by HalfBlindLefty »

Today I fetched Josie out of here case :lefty:
Thought I would end up with another single chord jam I fiddled a little with the A,C and D chords and ended up with a pattern I liked.. it's familiar btw.
I started to add some guitar tracks and during the process I felt it was time for 12bar to have a community jam. Full scale this time, no BT's

I upped a sampletrack with only my rhytm part and some fills I did with Josie to (CT was on Blindmans reverb, with the tonestack position changed to post distortion)

Reminds me of some old guitar sounds creedence, skynyrd and Cream seem to have been there in a way while recording. Isn't really blues I think

Anyone likes to make this in to a 12bar song ?

Hbl, I think it has potential, I'm in. Are you going to add any drums or base, or just lengthen the pure guitar track?
Either way, sounds good.

I agree with tytl - it has potential for a collab / jam. So - interested - yes. Whether I can get up to speed and produce anything worthwhile is not certain. :icon_whoknows:

In which regard - would a bass along these sort of lines be of any use - assuming that in proper version the idiot playing the bass could get the timing right of course. :wall:

Cool! I would like to get in on this.
I am sorting out a new (to me) computer. A friend gave me a Macbook, and I haven't really figured it out yet. :wall: I may be slow in getting anything together. I hope that my Line6 widget is compatible with Mac...

Awesome

My upload was intended as a first idea, with no intention to use any of it in the jam.
I think we should start sorting out some rhythm part if needed with synthetic drums or by hitting a wooden crate.
Find us a bass player (Kalle ? VB ? )
then we should create rhythm and fills and licks guitar parts.
After we have the base song we can setup some lead parts and maybe even some text and singing (VB ?)

Hitting a wooden crate ? haha, I tested this evening using a 1983 port crate I have standing around, mind I'm not a heck of a drummer.
I looped a short portion, added a shuffle rhythm on the A chord, a droning A chord and presto.....

The title should be obvious
