Plugged Layla into my Carvin V3 last night...

I played Layla, my new Clapton Strat into my Carvin V3 (http://www.carvin.com/guitaramps/v3series.php, the V3812 full stack) last night into my room, like I've been doing for a couple of days, and I was really impressed by the sound I got on both the clean and the distorted channels. On the clean, I got a beautiful nice bright tone, and with the midboost, a nice clean blues lead sound.

On the distorted channel, I got a nice singing lead, and when I kicked up the midboost and lowered the volume, I got a great lead sound ala Badge, at Hyde Park in the 96...

I'm really pleased with this guitar, and am amazed by the versatility of the midboost/TBX knobs...
