I'm very sad to hear this - it must be hard to stop playing. But it sure is better to give it away so it's still being played.
(If I hadn't already a Sheraton I definitely would buy it. It's such a great guitar...)

I am very sorry to hear this. About 17 years ago, the doctors told me I had to quit playing... (carpal tunnel syndrome) and we were moving out here to New Mexico, so I sold off most of my instruments and amps. I still miss some of that stuff.
Hope you are able to hang on to the Strat and maybe play it a bit.

Tyhanks guys,
It was a hard decision, but it won't get beter.....
Just like you sadd, it's beter playing somewhere then collecting dust.
The strat is staying for now, it has some emotion feeling whit it, and maybe...........

Sad to hear that news - I'm sorry that this has happened to you.
Sorry - but I'm afraid I am (a) too far away, (b) totally out of funds, and (c) unusual for me but true just now, not suffering from GAS at all.
A few months back and I might have wondered seriously about the CyberTwin.
Hope you can find them good homes - I would think there should be a demand for them. It does sort of make sense that they get played and used by someone and not gather dust. A difficult decision to have made though.

Pity.
I also have poor health and are looking to stop playing. Play is too demanding, now, for me.
