Fender Mustang Amp

Post by AngelEyesNC »

Now that I'm in a proper place to ask questions, I'll start out with this one.

I've got a Fender Mustang Modeling Amp. REALLY love it! I can get so many different sounds from it, it's plenty loud for playing at home, etc.

I'm just wondering if anyone else here has one. I've downloaded a few different blues settings, and have made a couple myself, but I'm always searching for advice on how to get the best blues sound out of it.

Right now, when I'm trying to make a good blues tone, I usually will choose '57 Deluxe or a '59 Bassman as my amp. Then I throw in an overdrive pedal and just dick around with the settings on the amp and the pedal until I get a tone that I like.

So, anyone else here using a Fender Mustang amp?

Thanks!

Well, I'm not using a Mustang amp. But :)
I do use a Fender amp that could be said from it's a modeling amp :amp: a Cybertwin SE.
That's a world apart when compared to a Mustang, but maybe my settings will put you in a good direction to start off from.

Ok, here's a song and a guitar/amp sound, actually this preset is the one I use most recently.

This is not the ! blues sound, but a good one to my ears.

Here are the settings from my Cybertwin

You'll have to translate to the mustang, it may work. Good luck
