My names Eric, I'm 39 and have played bass for over 20 years and recently picked up the guitar, I was wondering if someone could recommend a good instructional dvd/download for blues guitar
I know all the major minor asus chords, am very familiar with major and minor pentatonic, but having trouble putting it all together on guitar
here are four I was looking at but I am def open to suggestions!

Hi digismash
welcome to 12 bar !!
In terms of tuiition .............I can only really recommend on line tutors that I have actualy used
#1 A 1;1 tutor is ..in my opinion, the best way to get going quickly .......if you have half decent one near you ......it gives you a discipline for starters and he/she can tailor-make the tuition to your situation. As you already play ......it may save you time and money and get you going faster.
However, ...............If you are dead set on an online or DVD approach
Griff Hamlin - Blues Guitar Unleashed.............http://bluesguitarunleashed.com/lessons/circle-of-4ths/
He does plenty of fee video lessons too .good teacher very explanatory
Martry Schwartz ..good teacher .also does plenty of free vids .. you mention him .he's good .takes time to make sure you've got it !
http://www.guitarjamz.com/members/
and Dan Denley .......I think he has a deal going at the moment
http://guitarzoom.com/ripfire/video3/
and Justin Sandercoe ( who i think you mention) .he works on contribuitions not on buy a course at a particular price
http://justinguitar.com/en/LK-000-GuitarLicks.php
I dip in and out of his web site when I remember
hope that helps

Digismash... it sounds like you have a pretty good leg up on playing since you already play base. I agree with Strummer, one on one is the best way to go. I started with an instructor about three months ago and it has helped me tremendously (although I need a tremendous amount of help still). Strummer has listed some of the best on-line resources. I also recommend that you check out the "Blues Tutorial" section of this web site, it has some great information.
Some of the better players on this site use Jamplay.com. I looked into it a while back and it looks like a really cool alternative to face to face lessons if you can't find anyone locally.
Good luck with your quest....

yeah I just picked up their Blues Licks & Solos DVD after seeing an advertisement for it in a GuitarPlayer email. Hadn't heard of Jody Worrell before but really digged it. Here's a free video he has on YoutubePena wrote:Hello Eric, and
