This has been a pain to learn but much needed in building up my speed.

I still can't even play it half as fast as this video, any advice please on building up speed?

Now. You can't be someone else but you. If you think you can be SRV you have to remember hi was one of top six players in the world. Try to find youre self and play youre style. The question is. Do you think you can be one of top six guiterplayers in the world ? If you do you have to live guitarplaying all the time and practis many hours a day.

Put a squillion hours into your playing and in your spare time play some more.
