I like his sound and way of playing, too bad he left us so early.
Got some videos of his concerts lately, Live at Montreux and Live at Mount Fuji, both are from the early 90's.
His Telecaster tone has something unreal, I've read somewhere he just used a Fender Twin or Quad cranked all
the way up with the bass knob rolled down.
Here is a clip that starts with some collage and ends up with a Jam.
The song at the begininng is "Something to remember you by" played with Johnny Copeland.

Albert Collins
Re: Albert Collins
Albert was certainly one of a kind.
I've read about his tele and his tone before as well, but I think he is one of the PRIME examples of when people talk about tone being in a person's fingers. The way he snapped those strings was something else. His crazy capo helped too of course.

Re: Albert Collins
Just to note to people thinking of buying Collins videos, the Montreux DVD includes also late seventies footage, like 40 min of it. Supposedly the best live footage of him, but although I have seen it, I wouldn't know cause I never liked his style.
