RIP John Mayall

Post by VikingBlues »

3 days ago, at the age of 90, we lost musician who was a central figure in the british Blues boom in the 60s.

A stepping stone for so many great artists the Bluesbreakers included, amomg many :-
John McVie
Eric Clapton
Peter Green
Jack Bruce
Aynesly Dunbar
Mick Fleetwood
Keef Hartley
Mick Taylor
Dick Heckenstall-Smith
Andy Fraser
......

So many to choose from, but I couldn't help but link a "Stormy Monday Blues" performance with Peter Green on guitar. McVie bass, Fleetwood drums.

Rest in Peace John :tears:
