I enjoyed JLH from the first day I heard him - he brought me to the Blues with his album The Healer. I got all his records, I even play the same guitar, without pick, sure.
To me he was the Blues in person. No fancy chords or notes, just his voice and his Sheraton.
I'll try to visit his place from the BB movie when I'm in Chicago

John Lee Hooker for me is about as near perfect as it gets. Thanks for the link Fenson - much enjoyed!!!
Great voice and the ability to get so much across with nothing flashy - just classy.
