Crossroads 2013 - Bring it On !

Eric's at it again with Crossroad 2013 planned for Madison Square Gardens over two nights in April 12th and 13th Next Year


New York in April ..I doubt EC will be wearing his long shorts again !! :D


Loads of names signed up so far ............the whole list is here ........and its not complete yet ..50 stars so far and counting

Pleased to see Taj Mahal, Robert Cray and Keb Mo on the list, as well as John Mayer , the Allman Brothers Band , Buddy Guy and BB King,
Andy Fairweather Low and Doyle Bramhall II both top notch ex eric Sidesmen also on the list

Could be a grand event. One things is for sure ......up in the gardens - it'll be a sell out !!

it'll be a DVD for me again ! ...........great dvd's usually!!

Tickets on sale very soon .....so if you're planning on going ..check it out !

Does read like a "Whos Who" of guitarists. Wide variety of styles too.

All in a very good cause. :thumbsup:

Thank goodness for DVD s - bit of a lengthy round trip for a night out from the chilly damp shore of Eastern Scotland!

I got my tickets to both shows this morning. I bought the cheapies (which were even expensive!) Looked in to flights to NY and a hotel. This is going to be an expensive trip!

I hope other from the board can make it!

I realise its somewhat impractical but I do wish EC would run a Euro Crossroads gig sometime !!

To me, it would make sense to host one in his native land. Plus, I've been looking for a reason to make the trek to jolly old England!

The only other place I could see him doing it here in the states would be in the south somewhere.

I'm excited about the lineup, but curious about the format. If I read correctly, the show will start at 7pm each night. There are an awful lot of performers for that little amount of time. Anyone want to venture a guess?

Well the past couple of years its been held together by Bill Murray as the MC and they use the Revolving Stage concept
So its Band after Band /Performer ..and EC apperas at various spots all the way through

Whatever the format ... it'll be mega !
