Tragic night indeed.
The changed plans to travel in a different helicopter. Plus it being such a short time after SRV had got clean and sober, and by all accounts playing better than ever ... just sort of seems such a cruel twist of fate.

I get suddenly a curious thought. I miss Steve and mourning for years. But if he did not trade places whit Eric that day we lost an other, not replaceable musician.
