New young up and coming Texas feller...

Post by Blindboy »

Gary Clark Jr.... Check this guy out. This is from the Crossroads festival. Gary got four stars in the latest Rolling Stone mag. (they rarely hand out four stars to blues guys) He is playing a Casino, too.
Lefty's take note... Doyle Bramhall (on the Strat) is playing an upside down strung guitar. :yikes: (Fat E on the bottom)

He sure can play - and gives the Casino a nice workout - thanks for posting this - another new one for me.

Upside down strings ... that's right up there for me with talking backwards, or writing right to left in mirror writing. :eye_rub:

Sounds great! The first time I saw Clapton in 2008, Doyle was with him. Being a lefty I went... wait a tic. Doyle plays a lefty like Albert King, Low E on the bottom. It's like me picking up a right handed guitar, the low E is on the bottom. It's very different to play.
