Go See ....Mayall
tradrr ... I think I'd have to say .. Go See !!
.. As long as its not a Top Dollar gig .... I very much doubt you'll be disappointed
He is older and some of his old power and energy isn't so evident . but he's a true blueman
And ... he has a great back catalogue ....plus he always has a top band with him , I think Rocky Athas is his current guitarist ... (Buddy Whittington is doing his own thing these days)................So it will be a good sound.
He is touring the UK again later this year and I have him on my "go See" radar
Let us know how you get on

Re: Mayall
I'm going to see him in the UK in November. Strummer is right about Rocky Athos. Others are Greg Rzab, Jay Davenport and the Oli Brown Band. I have seen him over a dozen times during the last 40+ years and I have never been disappointed. He has a knack for putting together superb bands.
Go for it!!
