Wild About You Baby - Hound Dog Taylor

Post by BlindLemonJeff » Wed Sep 21, 2011 5:15 am

This is a fairly straightforward song in Open D (or close to it), but there's two parts that I can't figure out. First is the turnaround he does for most of the song. I think I figured out part of it but I'm not sure. The second in the riff starting at about 3:19 is the video below. The picture isn't the greatest and so far my ears haven't been able to completely decipher the notes so I thought I'd ask for some help. Thanks

Just post what you think and we'll see...

Without a guitar in my hand I'd say it sounds like the one Clapton used for "before you accuse me". It's tabbed (for standard tuning however) in the tutorial above.

For the turnaround I've got

D--0-0-0-0-0-0-0-3p0-------0-0--------------
A-------------------------0--------2p0-0-------
F#-----------------------------------------------
D------------------------------------------------
A------------------------------------------------
D------------------------------------------------
